Jaylen Brown Sounds Off on the Coronavirus on Twitter

As concern regarding the coronavirus continues to grow and the NBA weighs its options to preserve public health, Jaylen Brown sent a message to fans via his Twitter. In a 5-tweet spree, Brown urged fans to think about how the virus may impact others, not just themselves, and told his followers to “stay home if they can”.

Shams Charania of The Athletic was first to report the NBA’s decision to suspend the season late Wednesday night. The decision came immediately after it was discovered that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. Gobert and the Jazz played the Celtics in Boston on March 6th.

Brown himself had missed four straight games with a hamstring injury and was listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks before the season was put on pause.
