It’s official folks. In news that isn’t too shocking, Jayson Tatum has been named an All-Star starter.
This marks Tatum’s fourth career appearance in the NBA’s annual All-Star game. It comes as no surprise, as Tatum has been playing at an insane level all season.
The Duke product is in the midst of a career defining season. Tatum is averaging 31.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. All three of those stats mark career best numbers for the 24 year old.

His high level of play has put him deservedly in MVP conversations. It also helps that the Boston Celtics currently possess an NBA best 35-14 record.
It makes sense for the best player on the best team to earn this spot. Now the Celtics just need to get fellow star Jaylen Brown into the All-Star game as well.
