Randy Moss made an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up to discuss Cam Newton signing with New England. Moss stressed that he thinks Newton will enjoy his time with the Patriots and emphasized “fun” being a key element to the Newton signing. Moss also gave his thoughts on Tom Brady signing with the Buccaneers.
The similarities between Moss and Newton are striking. Like Newton, Moss also joined the Patriots looking to revive his career and both are considered perhaps the most freakish athletes at their individual positions in the history of the NFL. If Newton can accomplish anything remotely close to what Moss was able to with the Patriots, the signing will be a massive success.
