The Jets (0-4) are scheduled to play the Arizona Cardinals (2-2), who delayed its flight to New York until 6 p.m.
On Friday morning, players and coaches were sent home after a presumptive positive COVID-19 player test.
New York’s training facility was shut down and the team went virtual while players were re-tested, per Adam Schefter, ESPN Senior NFL Insider.Â
In the last few weeks, players and personnel across several NFL teams tested positive for the virus, including cornerback Stephon Gilmore, and members of the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans. Due to outbreaks, the Patriots vs Broncos game was moved to Monday 10/12 and the Titans vs Bills game was moved to Tuesday 10/13.
