Has the Florida Humidity Turned Tom Brady’s Brain to Mush?

Let me preface all of this by saying Tom Brady is a hero of mine. Always has been, always will be. But I gotta be honest here, the guy is losing it.

There being a global pandemic hot on the streets right now, the NFLPA medical director has told everyone to relax on the practices until further notice. Just to allow this thing to blow over a little bit. Brady basically shoved that guy in a locker via Instagram.

I’m a big quote guy. Sucker for a good quote. But, for me, in this instance, I’d probably fear fear itself and then a viral disease that has killed hundreds of thousands in a close second. I’ve never won any Super Bowls though, so what do I know.

This is strange behavior for Brady. He’s usually a guy that has his head screwed on right. There are a couple reasons he could be acting out like this.

One is the humidity. You’ve ever been to Florida? It’s an absolute death trap. One step outside and you’re underwater. I’m not huge on science, aside from when I became an expert on how temperature affects PSI back in 2015, but I think it is entirely possible the heat and humidity melted Tom Brady’s brain. Or at least eroded it somewhat. I’m not saying it’s likely, I AM saying it’s something we should consider.

Something else that’s worth throwing out there is that Brady has lived in Florida for three months or so. I’m not sure about the exact timeline of the transformation, but is he a “Florida Man” now? Like the one’s you read about in the headlines with the bath salts and the alligators. It does seem like he just lives his life with such reckless abandon that is becoming of someone that resides in a sweltering hot swamp state. The real headline here should be “Florida Man Spits in the Face of Viral Disease,” but Brady’s name attracts more clicks, so.

Lastly, and maybe this is a little dark, but now that Brady is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, do you think he cares if he lives or dies? Seriously, would ANYONE act this way if they were on a perennial championship team like the New England Patriots? I’d think not. You cling on to that for dear life. But when you’re on the Buccaneers? I’d think your attitude towards life definitely falters to a certain degree. Bruce Arians’ funny hats can only cheer you up so much.

I’m worried about Tom. I’m man enough to say it. He’s given me so much, I just want him to be safe. I really hope this isn’t some cry for help we’re all missing, because that’s entirely possible too.
