On Monday night, the Major League Baseball schedule was released on MLB Network for the 60-game season kicking off on July 23 with two prime time matchups headlines by the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals.
But let’s get to Boston’s schedule which includes 40 games against the AL East and the remaining 20 games vs the NL East.
Some highlights of the Red Sox 60-game regular season schedule:
- Red Sox host the Baltimore Orioles on Opening Day (July 24) at 7:30 PM ET
- Play Yankees 10 times, three games are at Fenway Park (September 18-20)
- Interleague games are 4 vs Mets and Phillies, 3 vs Nationals (at home), 3 at Marlins, and 6 vs Braves (3 home, 3 away)
- Finish the season at Atlanta for a three-game series (September 25-27)
