After much speculation, it’s officially official. Bill O’Brien will be the Patriots’ next offensive coordinator. All is right with the world again.
Alabama OC/QB coach Bill O’Brien has returned to New England and is being named the Patriots offensive coordinator, sources tell @ClowESPN and me. O’Brien was a Patriots’ assistant coach from 2007-2011, and now returns to coach Mac Jones, whom he briefly worked with at Alabama.

After the dismal season New England just had, this news is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully the hire will be bring about change to an offensive unit that was abysmal in 2022.
